Yesterday morning saw myself in front of 25 new recruits for another
conduct of the SAP ABAP boot camp. I volunteered to participate and
give a "talk". It wasn't actually A TALK but instead I taught the
first topic for the boot camp -- Logic for Programming or, in a less
flowered up name, Flowcharting. It's good to know that the majority of
boot campers have some programming experience. It was easier to teach
them the contents of the prefabricated presentation slides. Anyway, each participant was full of hype. The topic I presented was
quite easy. And it's their first day so the excitement levels on a new
job hasn't normalized. Many asked about ABAP programming and I could
see that they couldn't wait to get their hands on it. I hope that they
find ABAP interesting. I wonder, in 2 weeks time, how much of their hype will be left?
